How Can I Access Health and Wellbeing Resources?

During this pandemic, the response from NHS staff has been nothing short of incredible. During this time, doctors, nurses and all healthcare workers have made sacrifices and put the health and wellbeing of others ahead of all else. Although this is excellent and dedicated work, it is also important for NHS staff to take time to look out for their own health and wellbeing, as well as that of others.

This has been such an unusual time that nobody has experienced before, and it may affect people differently. Sometimes the people that care for us in our time of need, need to be cared for themselves.

That’s why we welcome the COVID-19 Health and Wellbeing Staff Response document that NHS England and NHS Improvement have released, outlining steps and measures for support of staff. This takes you through what may happen throughout different stages of the pandemic, explaining each stage and what can be done during each stage.

You can view and download the document in full by following this link.

As well as outlining what may happen during the pandemic, there are also a host of great support resources for NHS staff across multiple platforms, should you need it. Please see this list at the bottom of this page, or in the staff response document.

We’re so proud of our doctors, as well as all other healthcare staff, for going above and beyond the call of duty over the past couple of months. We hope you keep safe.
